I like the shot brian, the monochrome colouring works well, but I think it lacks a bit of depth. The shadow on the water from the distant gull helps, perhaps having them all in such sharp focus is the problem?

This one looks really good in panorama, Brian! I have a hard time capturing one bird, let alone 8!!! And every one is in focus! Well done...a very pretty image!
