The detail and backlighting is super. Placement in the blue sky would have me working for hours. Did you try lower down with more blue above the gull?

very nice capture of a gliding gull, the backlighting is very good, maybe a little gradiation on the blue to make it more natural but otherwise it will go unnotice had you not mentioned... nice shot Laura!!
