Went for a wander through Hulne Park, Alnwick, yesterday in search of the Priory I had heard so much about. The walk held many splenders including these Highland Bulls. Could not resist capturing this one.. em.. though had a feeling that look was more.. 'Hmph.. can't be bothered to chase you' than menacing.. lol (well.. I must admit I was hiding behind a very big protective wall when I shot this herd.. he he he.
This is a pretty shagy guy. Looks like a musk oxen form up norht. I do think you are right about the look--he doesn't really want you around but is not feeling up to being any more demonstrative about it. However, you were probably wise to be on the other side of a fence. MAry
