Nour, actually I didn't mean the background to be blue or any other color.... :0)
I was just concentrating on the flower and on reviewing it on the computer monitor I found the blue background and I found that it would look good with some cropping like I did.

PS, why didn't you come to the EPS meeting the day before yesterday? we're waiting for you next sunday and there is a contest titled "contrast".

wonderful floral image, i love the contrast between the green and orange colors and i wished that the background part was green instead of blue, but its ok, good composition too

Hello Khaled, it's good to see and hear from you. This macro works well w/ the green colors off centered and the bright oranges coming out from the middle, and then the hint of blue in the background. I think we have lost some of the talent here during the upgrade, but I for one still enjoy the site and hope to kind of 'school' some of the new members on the strongest points of the site - mainly interaction and commenting on each others work.
