Methinks this post is more than just a post to sit on, from a pelican's point of view, of course.
He looks nicely relaxed even although he hasn't a newspaper with him. Well seen and taken Larry. All the best my friend....Ray

I think by the look of the post this pelican might be glued on. Nice shot,Larry. Cheers, Ann.

Well now Hugo you ask all the tough questions...Since I did this a coupe months ago I think I used some noise reduction which accounts for the soft look...Thanks

Good capture of the pelican, Larry! I like your composition, with some interesting texture on the post and you've caught the colours of the bird nicely.
Dave.

Hi Larry, a very good DOF, and a nice, balanced compostition. The image looks a bit soft on focus, though. Nice shot, with some very intersting tones. (did you do anything to it?) The mooring post looks like it's made of oxidised copper, and the bird, especially it's wings, have a plastic look to it. It makes the scene resemble a statue. Not sure if this is the right assessment, though...

Cheers,

Hugo
