There is not much time to shoot this butterfly.I have seen it only that day and you cann't prepare anything when you are shooting those insects.
Adjusting in PS (just a little) will destroy the contrast.

Lovely detail and colour on the subject Steen. Due to the black on the wing edges, it tends to blend in with the dark background. I know its not always possible, but a slight change in angle might have produced a more even green background. Alternatively, you could try to lighten up the background in PS. A great macro nontheless. Kind regards.
