Well seen, the horizontal lines and the boughs crossing them from the left to the right, that means you looked very well before making the picture. Congrats, Femke

A very classic background with wonderful
horison(s)and perfect 1/3 coverage of blue(s)agianst the sand,in contrast with a very modern but simple structure in the forground breaking those rules in every possible direction has created this magnificent piece of contemporary art!
I do admire you,Jeanette!
My Favorite and my wall paper for days to come.

Quite a typical scandinavian view =) I like the way the frame is divided into 3 seperate horizontal parts with the brach crossing over all of them - a clever idea!

HI! yes i also noticed that and my images looks so terrible when only being thumbnails - really bad ad for them. I don´t know why. But when open up they look normal. Maby they are resized? I don´t know and i never ask for sharpening when posting them - maby cause of that?

Beautiful definition and lines, Jeanette! I love the clouds and the branches in the foreground breaking the horizontals and framing the view! Great sand pattern and wonderful natural colors! Best regards, Ina

What an exciting contarst, the fragile simple construction against the wild amazing elements. Great scenery, lovely colourtones with fine blue colours. Great natural abstraction, lovely triple striped capture. The dominant sand beach, the water and cloudy sky are great stipes. Very unique view in one. Well captured and seen! Great job dear Jeanette! Nice mind and original idea! :)
Congratulations!

Cheers dear friend!

There is usually an element to your photographs that causes the need to ask questions... why, where, and what the heck is that??? I love the questions! ..Brad

You keep posting these images and it makes me long for the summer time. My first thought when viewing this is the cartoon Madagascar. What I love the most is the lines in the image, how you have perfectly composed the image allowing just the right space for sky, water, and sand. I like how there is nobody in the image, and with the bare looking shelter (no roof or cloth to cover) it really gives the feeling of being on a deserted island somewhere. Anyhow, enough of that, love it~

in the thumbnail i thought it was a barb wire fence still standing from the world war 2.another interesting view as you say simple but yet so effective in picture.

Beautiful skyline with lovely cloud formations Jeanette, a calm looking sea and sand that has seen a lot of activity but as to the simple construction....well..it could be the work of some children and their vivid imaginations or the foundation for a bonfire to be lit later on or even a piece of beach art using driftwood. I give up my sweet. It is a lovely composition which is the main thing. Best wishes and 'see' you soon....Ray

There is something strange I'm noticing on the uploaded images lately. I looked at this in the medium size and thought that it was out of focus, but when I opened it up in large it is totally focused. I have noticed this with quite a few images, including my own, Hmmm! Once I see the good focus on the driftwood I really like this Jeanette!

Hi Jeanette, I really like this idea (not the triptych theme, as I'm fairly familiar with that) but the seascape image with the added subject in the foreround in stead of the more usual approach, towards the horizon. I only think if you'd taken this from a lower POF, the clearance between the top of the stack and the horizon would've been a tad more prominent, which would IMO only benefit the composition.

Good tones, though, and a very lush summer feel. Good stuff!

Cheers,

Hugo

J'ai fait un tour de votre porte-folio et vous avez de fort belles photo...graphiques et de beaux paysages. Merci Jeanette de votre commentaire; pour le signe étrange, je ne suis pas certain, mais je pense que c'est pour le gaz.

Jeanette... Simple idea...Great shot . My eye is lead out to sea so the perfectly straight horizon is very important here.
