I like the depth of field and perspective on this photo. Having the two circular objects on almost the same plane gives it something additional. The contrast between the bright warmth of the light, and the cold darkness of the post. The only suggestion I would make would possibly be a tighter crop, maybe a square. Of course, Im a newbie too, so what do I know. Good luck.
(ok, ok, I decided to see what it would look like with a different crop, not sure if it adds anything or not.. you be the judge.)
