Love the close framing of the models face while maintaining good lighting without overexposing the skin. Great shadow giving you the feeling she is alone dreaming off waiting for her lover. Keep up the good work.

I think that you did achieve the look that you were going for. Maybe you should start a 1930's theme portfolio. Great work!

Excellent. You definitely caught that classic 20s style! As far as the shoulder goes, why not just crop off the bottom a little?

wow, impressionante.. Sembra uno di quei ritratti fatto alle attrici degli anni 40-50, quelle che avevano sempre un'aria di bellezza e sofferenza dipinta sul volto... hai fatto un ottimo lavoro... STUPENDA...

Nice self portrait, the detail in the skin is fantastic, highlights on the eyelids & makeup. Good crop & use of natural light, the shoulder isn't really distracting in my opinion. Tones look good, well taken Melanie, regards.

Yes I would say excellent as well! Very detailed and wonderfully exposed. You could be right on the shoulder. would have made it a stronger image possibly but that is a matter of opinon! This is really great photography Melanie. Great tones and composition. You should be proud!
