As much as I really like this capture of the little cloud, I have to agree with Andrew about the tilt. My eye keeps trying to "fix" it. It would seem more natural to have the clouds straight and the boat keeling, rather than the other way around.
I have the impression from the proportions that this was cropped from a larger image. If that is so, I would recommend (this is personal opinion only, however) that you go back to the original, straighten the horizon, and maybe (if possible) leave a little more space in front of the sailboat, giving it somewhere to go. That would also place the boat and cloud onto the right gridline of thirds and extend the taper of the landmass to the left. Then you would have a neat little leading triangle in your composition. Hope you don't mind - I played with it a itty bit, trying to explain what I mean.
But I could also just be full of it. :-) Good luck! Nice job.
Nice photo but it really just looks like a snapshot to me. I like the fact you used B&W and I like the idea behond the shot. Try maybe a filter to give a little more contrast(or if your developing it yourself try a differnt time or paper)
The composition is nice. I like the balance created by both the cloud and the sailboat. My only bit of concern here lies with the apparent tilt of the photo. Judging from the line of the clouds, the photo appears slightly tilted clockwise. Easily correctable, though. Nice work.
