Hi Ralf, I've been looking at this photo a few times, now, and I can't really tell if there's just a wee bit of (almost desaturated) blue left in the sky. If so, I think it's an amaisingly subtle touch, which really adds to the image. Maybe it's just me WANTING to see that subtle touch... Other than that, I'll just conform with the majority of the other 21 comments. It's a Rock Solid shot.

A wonderful idea and very well done. It's amazing how even a bustling metropolis such as New York can become insignificant with the right mind, imagination, vision and tools to do the job. Love the sky and the B&W adds to the mood and theme. Great details and a fine piece of work.
