Ingrid,

I am resending a comment that I think got blotted during a server issue, so if this is redundant forgive me. Thanks for your comments. I find it a little ironic you like this B&W shot when you are so masterful with color. Rarely am I blew away by a person's portfolio but you are an artist with light. Your stuff reminds me of Eliot Porter and other past masters of nature photography. Do you publish or show any of your work, if not I encourage you to do so. Cheers.

This is realy a good idea in Paterns in nature.BW works well in this sharpness & quality to show a natural texture and contrast. bravo Larry for your creative capture.

Cheers back at ya Ann, first award in a long time, I know they're suckers for B&W at UseFilm HQ, and besides its a nice shot. Loved your frozen falls shot, the wide angle vertical, I didn't think things got that frosty in Coastal Oregon, where is the Falls in relation to Portland?

Excellent textures in the bark and snow, Larry! I like the line the snow makes down the side of the tree as well.

Beautiful exposure Larry to get that snow just right. Lovely textures in the bark and the snow and a great contrast with the snow against the bark. I like the diagonal lines and slight curve. A beaut shot well seen and captured.

Cheers - Ann :)
