Excellent winter capture, Jacques.
The textures in the snow are awesome and your composition is great.
Thanks for your comments and yes the safari (2 days only) was great, but all the rest, except for the photos I took, is to be forgotten.

jacques, very appealing picture. I like the symetry and the snow filled scene. All those elements are key for this great composition. Some small retouches suggested earlier may help but are not fundamental to change image perception. Impressive shot, good eye. Cheers, n.j

Beautiful image Jacques!! Kind of looks like a face! Your composition is wonderful and you did wonderful work on the whites! Runie went back to Tucson, Mason's at his Mom's (Krystal). Kryal is doing really good, she has 3 more days of radiation and we hope she;ll be done! I'll be posting a pic of her soon! I think Krystal thought I need some rest after everyone left...I took a 3 1/2 hour nap this afternoon (and I don't do naps!!) Take care my friend and I'll keep you posted! Darlene

Jacques this is gorgeous. The snow is beautiful and I love the icicles underneath the left window. Makes me want to go up there and stomp footprints all over it....or maybe slide off the roof on a sled or taboggan. :) That's such an incredible amount of snow. Something which I don't get to see very often but I love it when I do see it. All those curves are wonderful. A beautiful image and very well captured.
I hope you had a great start to the new year. I had a nice little holiday and now I'm back and posting photos and comments again.

Jacques, this is a really nice capture, Yeah I remember the snow, my muscles still sour from shoveling the snow lol, I love St agathe, it is just amazing, I was planning to go there this winter as well, Your picture just reminded me of that lol
Btw, I like this capture allot, The contrast is just wonderful, but one minor thing, I would clone the upper right corner to remove that part,
