About	About two years ago I encountered this phenomenon on the lake. Since then, I have been searching for it, in hopes of developing this sort of minimalist landscape. It's not quite there, but I am inspired to continue my quest.

Hi David, this is one of the best ones in your portfolio, I believe. You're being pretty tough on yourself, the minimalist landscape is there, alright! Maybe not as strong as you would've liked or as the one that was featured on the main page yesterday, but to me, that's exactly what makes this photo so appealing. It presents the viewer with an exceptional good balance between an abstract and a landscape; The BIP-ed one is just too empty and void for me...

Great shot, and I like this quest for simplicity...
