Hi Paul, I completely agree with Mark on this one. Your title is "Talking To Shadows" not "Red Trackpants".:) So one thing you don't want is those red track pants taking any attention away from the subject. The shadows and textures are beautiful in this shot! Great job on the re-do!
ps I read your bio. It's nice to read a "good news" story for a change! Have a Happy New Year! Andre

No Kodak tips for you Missy...it has a mind of its own. ;)
The 20D has manual everything and is FAST as your finger! Get ready for a whole new dimension in photography with the 20D, as it'll be like trading in a vespa scooter for a Ferrari! ;)~

lighting and tones are perfect..the colors are wonderful...i ready our bio and saw that you started posting with a kodak dx6490..thats what i'm using now, and cant wait to get the canon 20d in a few weeks...the kodak has been good to me though, and you have a great porfolio full of wonderful kodak shots :).the only problem i have with it, is that i cant ever get the aperture to adjust to where i want it without over exposing, or under exposing the shot, have any tips? .best regards..

I like this one more. I do not know exactly who Mark is but I have to agree with him. The pants remind me (when I look at the other version) of how SOME politicians ruin a very nice, fine suit with a blinding red tie. Now more attention goes to the golden light, textures, and shadows. I find the shadows more inportant then the people but of course they have to be in the shot on this one to see who's generating the shadows. I feel Mark's comments mainly apply if you're wanting to be as abstract as possible with the shot. Works very well IMHO. Like it, Mark

You know Paul, I kind of liked the red as it brought your attention to the two people.. Just my opinion. This one works very well also. Don.
