Dramatic is the right word for this one. What an inspired choice to make it monochrome, don't think it would have been so interesting in colour - too many distractions from form and structure with colours. It looks three dimensional somehow, not sure this makes much sense but the separation between sky and ground seems exagerated.

Hi George,
You did a great job in capturing this lonely place... The black and white treatment is just fine for the subject. There is a special mood here, although it's not really a moody landscape for me =)
