Trace,
email me, because I know you have it. I use PS elements 2.0 and PSCS 8.0 and they both work the same regarding this...

Trace,
Not sure what you are lookikng for, but I do see that the red in your hat has some gray. If that's all that bothered you about the photo try mine below.
Click the layer button on the top tool bar, click New Adjustment Layer, then click the Hue/Saturation. Then click OK... Slide the buttons to -100% on every color, but red. Slide the red until you like it. Click OK...
He still had a bit too much red on his skin, so I used the lasso tool to outline the red area I didn't want and repeated the step above, except this time I only removed the red.
Despeckle, Dust and Scratch filters used. With a bit of contrast and brightness adjustment...

Hi Tracey, the color looks fine to me, I'm not sure what you're after, but it's a cute Christmas card, and people look at the baby, not at your picture in the critique mode, LOL! I'd turn the black background to bright white - it's more Christmassy, and it'll save you tons of ink! Write me if you need help, I don't know what software you use!

Hi Trace- I know a bit about Photoshop- have taken alot of classes and spent way too many hours learning it! I can tell you how to do this if Liz can't get the right idea for you. I bet you are doing the spot color in Picasa- I love Picasa too but don't use it for permanent effects. What do you think of this one?
