My Lord! I just got the mast and you give us the whole...!!! Hi Lori, how are you? This one is so beautiful... A whole ship! And a beautiful timing to get the moon and venus together....
A very warm hello from "the Night Owl" :-)

Wonderful Night Photograph Lori, Great Colors and Clarity. Very well presented.
Thanks for sharing, and thanks for the wonderful comment on my Crystal Grass Photo... The dark background effect was done by shooting toward the sun at about 30 degree angle to avoid the glare and reducing the exposure bias. GOD Bless... Your friend, Peter Daniel

yeah, that's my favorite time of evening, just after the sun's gone down, and the sky gets royal blue and there's just enough ambient light to get shots like this. Nice!!

That is one massive ship!...great job with the exposure,Lori...lovely reflective light and deep blues....did you hear about the cruiseship that was attacked by modern day pirates recently?...yeah, not sure i would want to be on any water vessel for too long...regards,gayle

Nice separation of sky and dark ship. The highlights don't flare. A very nice job on an imposing beast of a ship.

Floating and dark city! Seem to be a train to. A very good landscape, with moon and stars! Excellent!

great view Lori. amazing glow and blue tone. the roundness of the moon is due to the long exposure, usually moon shooting uses fast shutter speeds somehow, the longer ur shutter stays open, the round the moon gets :)

A perfect exposure to reveal everything necessary but still give the feeling of night. Very impressive.

You really did get the afterglow. It is beautiful at that time of evening. Maybe even better than the sunset you missed. Great exposure on the whole scene. Nice work Lori. don.

Dear Lori, wow, that's a really nice shot. Never tried to do a night shot like this (but I hardly ever use a tripod outside except for those real short travel ones you have to put on top of a parked car or bench seat or something) Very nice work, Mark
