Can feel the incoming storm in this image. Nice depth created with the bank and the lines in the field. Love all the differing angles - verticals and horizontals.

well thank you all i feel quite flattered and kind of inspired to do more with this hobby. Its almost addictive.
The shot itself is one of 5 i took at different exposures and apertures and this one i liked most and you often have to shoot 2 or 3 to get the right balance of foreground and distance.
I would say Digital SLR is the most versatile productive method having had a 35MM SLR and never got anything like this.A computer is a DARKROOM!!

Fantastic lines the furrows in the straw really take the eye through the picture. Lovely scene, wonderful light and colours with such a fantastic sky

When you are able to take a photo like this where everything comes together perfectly, I guess the only thing you need to do is crop it, frame it, give it a title and end up on the front page of usefilm.

Wonderful landscape. The composition is perfect from the dried grassy field to the moody sky of dark clouds and the opening of the blue sky above.

Wonderful in every way. A perfect 10! Congratulations.

Wonderful composition and colors. I love how the plowed field makes a graceful hook in the distance. Really nice depth of field.
Congratulations.

The visual tension of this shot is amazing. The eye gets pulled HARD toward the focal point on the left created by the furrows, then pulled hard AGAIN toward the blue sky at the break in the clouds. This really hits, and the subtle highlights play nicely against the dark clouds. It all just works together brilliantly.

Definately at home in the 'Moody Landscape' category.
The stubble looks really sharp, the colours look great and that sky looks quite ominous - did you get wet?
