My favourite of your last 4 bird photos, Darlene. I love this one for the impressive, and higly selective, focus. The complementary, blurred background, concentrates attention upon the tri-coloured, heron.
I also like the fact that the bird is small, in relation to the overall image - which makes an interesting change to the close-ups. Excellent.
An irrefutable seven!

I wish the guy was a little bigger, but I realize that with the 600 and 2x extender you are pretty much at the limit of what's possible :)
Did you edit the photo somehow? The out of focus part to the left looks like yo did someting to it.

Another great natural photograph, colours and tones are superb. The blurry background is very nice, the little bird's pose is pretty. Very nice work with crystal clear details! Well done dear friend! 7+++
