Alex, Oh my, looks like a scene from 'Independence Day'! Where's Will Smith when you need him?
Seriously though, I have never seen this weather-effect before, we don't get then in the UK. I will link in some UK friends to this because I doubt thay will have seen the like either.
I like your attitude as expressed in your bio. There are an awful lot of photos on Usefilm that would be 'throw-aways' if it weren't for masterful post-processing. Of course I could be jealous of those that have the skills to do it!
I look forward to more of your pics & a look through your old ones. I suscribe to your philosophy although I am also drawn to the Photoshop 'dark side'!

spectacular event. Nicely captured. The composition in my opinion suffers a little from the foreground trees and lamp but the effect captured makes up for it.
