I find the extremely well captured details of the texture on the water surface to stand in a good contrast to the quite "flatt" sky. And the color difference enhances that contrast also in the sense of a hue transition, which is made a bit more continuous through the subtle haze effect. The two boats add interest - I only wonder what this might look like if one of them was a bit nearer. A very well done exposure, considering also that it was taken against the sun.
Cheers,
Nick

Think the timing was indeed just right! I had to force the taxi to stop, getting my camera out of the boot, running like crazy:) And there was more going on there, will show you later, txs a lot! Jen

I most certainly do like it. It is a glorious shot. The boats really help put the size of the Sun into perspective. Wonderful. MAry
