John what can I say!!! This image absolutely kicks butt big time!!! No amount of awards will be enough for this image. Excellent composition and WHAT A SUBJECT!!!! I am SO envious (in a good way) of you southern hemisphere dwellers for the spectacle this comet delivered! Up north we saw an impressive daytime comet.... but you saw the comet of a lifetime! Superb work! The trees provide the perfect framing. I love the hint of a reflection. The stars fill the sky beautifully, and the pink horison adds a gentle touch.
