Am truly flattered Larry. :) and blushing...
It's nice when viewed that way, and I am truly appreciative... Any comment on my submissions is used as a sign of encouragement to keep going, try harder but still enjoy... :)
Especially, when by comparison, the work presented by members of UF is way up there, be they amateur or professional... an encouragement in itself... :)
My biggest itch, is not being able timewise to view all the work... but, ~~GRIN~~ sometimes life can be put on hold for a few minutes longer just to indulge myself of others work...:)

Just do what I do and welcome the critiques from any direction... positive or negative... :)
Makes it a wee bit hard, when related, not to be accused of nepotism when commenting... So wasn't going to let on but thought who the heck cares anyway... ~~GRIN~~
Just fun to be a part of a great site, with lots of interesting views and ideas on capturing this wonderful world we live in... :)

LOL Larry... Bek and I live two hours apart... We both love art in all its forms, and quite often have like ideas...:) Quite funny sometimes... as we may not communicate for days at a time... LOL
Just so happens this work yard is part of a complex... :)
The timbers here, have lived either on the river bank or as part of structures involved with water management... As the structure has been up-graded, the timber has become redundant... but the beauty remains :)...
Lots of oxidisation and decay ~~grin~~ at least it stays still for me, not like our wonderful bird life on our lake and and river... My reaction times are such as I'd have an overload of entries for the *blurry* image... LOL...

Hi Henrick... :) The original is ok, but the light swallowed the colors making them flat... I used levels on this to try and clear the flatness, so probably went just a tad too far... ~~GRIN~~... Always save different versions of each shot for comparison...
