Never seen it, and never heard of it till today - seems an interesting idea, but I have to agree with Ameed - who would do this? It takes the beauty out of our art. Lets face it, beauty is not one of concrete's strong points...

I find it a provocative idea that might find its place in an art statement that needs to contradict traditional photograph's place.
Not quite on topic, but in some countries, and earliner in the USA some people would embed a photograph in a tombstone. The photographs were usually contact prints made onto photosensitized porcelain. I know someone who has a quantity of such media. Perhaps it is time to experiment with it.

Cnthia - the one thing I've seen is using Kodak instant picts and making a transfer? I will check out the website you spoke of. Sounds like quite a concept...better than stepping stones.

Cyn - yes i have heard of the process and i have actually done it. not in concrete but on rocks, white plates and wooden spoons. The process involves a product called Liquid Emulsion, you can paint it onto any surface and then expose just like if you were making a paper print. it fun, creative - but expensive. Give it a try I think you may enjoy it....
