Q. any advice on my new website appreciated

have just designed my new website, and would appreciate any advice or critques of the site. especially download times, main image quality and navigation.

neat, design; some small thingies:
-first page you have enter/english/french, enter/english are redundant, you can drop enter
-the side menu does not match the top menu
-archive has a lot of dark squares, i don't know if this is normal or not
-in Gallery 1 i am looking for the menu back to previous gallery (new gallery)
-when i choose a pic, top menu disappears, the top menu should be always there

I would suggest getting rid of the side menu, leaving top menu only, wiht submenus below photos

Sorry if i was too critical, but i think this site has very good pics, nice design and can be improved

Download time is good, navigation quite easy

Hi Paul. I just looked at your web site. I was surprised at how quickly the pages loaded, even with my dial up connection, and I really like the carousel slide show. Very effective!
My only critism, and it's just a matter of personal taste, I guess, is that the home page looks a bit stark. I think it needs something to make it more inviting. Still, that's just me. Others may well dissagree with that. Overall...a very nice site.
