Q. Good film for Night Photography

I was wondering if anyone could recomend a good slide film for night-time photography. (Low reciprocity failure)

Try reading the Selecting Color Film: A primer article in the article archives on this site. The reciprocity info is there and will help you make a good choice.

Try to go for tungsten balanced films for a kick off which may make your job a bit easier. Also I would suggest Fuji 64TII as this film has a wide exposure latitude and gives excellent reciprocity. I use Velvia but you may have to use some colour correction depending on how long your times go. Anything over 10 seconds with Velvia and your looking at a filter or you can say hello to some serious green shift.
