  Q. High Key Lighting

Asked by Phillip Filtz   Donor  (K=1792) on 8/16/2001
I know there's probably a ton of books on this subject, but who reads manual's? I have plenty of the equipment, and have tried several different lighting positions. I get close to it, but can't achieve "no" shadows.

Is this a realistic goal? Is some soft shadow acceptable or expected? Full length shots, or where the subject is sitting on the floor is where I run into the problem. If any cares, please respond with your suggestions on how to "minimize" shadows in this enviroment.

Regards,
Phillip "a rookie in studio lighting"

BTW ... I have a novatron 1500 4/strobe lighting kit w/2 umbrella's and 2 barn doors.
