Q. Hoya standard or HMC pol filter

I need a cir pol filter for my canon lens, but don't know which one to get...
Should I get the Hoya standard or spend a bit extra and get the HMC one? Is there really any difference?

ALWAYS get the best quality filters you can afford, and if you can't afford the best there are it's usually a better idea to save up for them than to buy something cheaper "for now".
