Yep - I'm confused too. This was from the Canon G3 in Jpg. I now shoot with the 20D in Raw and then can possibly adjust the saturation and white balance for correct colour.....

Rat - hmm, definitely confusion here as RAW (whatever format it is) has nothing to do with any of this. Sounds like there's some terminology mixup here...or you have an incorrect RAW plug-in? Graham.

Graham, the actual colour in the scene wasn't anything like this cold. I have been reliably informed (in a magazine!) that shooting in RAW allows you to boost the saturation considerably before any ill effect is noticed in the image. I have been noticing that a lot of my images in RAW are a little drab.... Could just be bad captures of course....? Rat

I was wondering how you feel shooting in RAW would be of help? This seems to be a common misconception

Beautiful scene Rat. Wish I was there. So serene. I like it the way it is. Doesn't need anything else for my tastes. Great shot and great location.
Cheers - Ann :)

Nope! Like it just as it sits. Love the subtle colors. Makes you look at the design more created be the cloudscape. Well done Ratty!
