About This old hinge, with a couple layers of rust and paint, is to a steel or iron (?) door of the Rhyolite jail. Rhyolite was a boom to bust gold mining town from the turn of the century, in Nevada.
Today it is a ghost town, with portions of only a few buildings remaining ... the jail, the casino, the bank, and the school.
