You have definately captured my imagination. The motion of the cars really gives the feeling that the tree is tucked in a busy urban area, a sort of oasis.

Hi Erik,
cool stuff, my friend. This tree is really special with the weird color. I also like the overall composing with the blurry cars and the background bridge. Maybe a bit busy, but nevertheless a great picture.

Quite the varietal comments on this one and mine falls inbetween somewhere..LOL..Purple haze was my first visual thought,and then i got the impression that tree was contemplating crossing that busy street!.....beautiful tree and love the motion blur and deep turquoise of the VW bus...well seen,Erik.....thanks for taking the time to give me feedback...regards,gayle

i always feel something extra special when the jacarandas are blooming. there's a lot of them in my neighborhood. when the blossoms fall they create a purple blanket to walk through. thanks for the thoughts!!

Purple haze? more like clusters of lilac and blue. One hears rumours that if one blossom falls on your head you?re blessed with tremendous luck but I?m not sure if you qualify from inside your cab across the street,? not so sure but I hope so? Maybe what I heard was how lucky you are to simply BE in the vicinity of a jacaranda?
