Great shot Dan ~ I would also tidy up the BG noise so it doesn't distract from those beautiful dogs :)

They look like lovely dogs.
I am sure there could be more done with this capture to improve its overall presentation. You have a fantastic pose, and the lighting is good, but I feel it needs a little tidying up. By this I mean, cropping the image in tight. I think the focus should be more on the dogs' faces, more so than including the entire body into the image. Also, by cropping you will remove the lamp(?) from the top right corner. I like a little noise in images, but I feel IMHO, that there are too many distracting spots. I do believe this image has plenty of potential, and I look forward to seeing more from you in the future....!

Dan,
Wow, It looks like a handfull to me. I only have 1 and he takes all my time... Well He's a Redbone though... Still high strung and all...
Clean your negs a bit more next time, before scanning... That way you won't mess up the photo with PS... Much too much Photo Shop! IMHO
Martin
PS. Welcome to UF!

Great portait Dan. Weimaraners are of course known for their facial expressions and love of the camera and you have really captured their nature here. Like to see more!

Nice image to start your portfolio, welcome to UF! Love the double portrait, and the light in the dog's eyes! I also have the same comment on the upper right corner, I'd clone out that brown spot. Lovely colors, too.

Nice pleasant portrait, I'm just wanting a bit more "punch" to the lighting, and would elliminate that little brown bit in the upper right corner.
