Stunning result of your "sky surgery" - no objection, but most often I see a mismatch of color temperature in sky and land in such composites. Sky and land dont fit perfectly together in this regard (not a major issue, but I would love to see the perfect illusion...)

Love the saturated reds of the heather and the grass, the composition is perfect. I did wonder where the reflection in the foreground puddles came from!? ;~}

Kevin ... nicely done. It's a shame when Mother Nature doesn't cooperate, causing you to add the more interesting sky. Althoug it would be an entirely different image, had you considered working with the natural "bland" sky, and creating a moody black & white image, as another view of your shot? Congrats. Mark
