What a great shot. I can't imagine getting a shot like this while fiddling around with a tripod. But then, maybe you were in a blind of some sort. Well worth the wait.

Gorgeous shot Dave. You could not have got a better pose. The coulourung is great - very autumnal. We have Silver Birches in our front garden and they are shedding leaves like crazy at the moment and I notice the smaller lower branches are bare there too.
