the main idea is good, but I can't agree with the superficial cloning left of the icarus guy, second, I don't understand why you felt the need to level the character and the ground part. Actually let me guess, its made out of more photos?

The "Angel of the North" is getting a lot of treatment on here I see - almost a cliche by now - BUT I must say this image is by far the best I have seen. Recently, I read a critique of this sculpture by Brian Sewell. I quote:
Mr Sewell's first comment about Newcastle as he steps off the train at Central Station is: "It's very Eastern European isn't it? Sort of the outskirts of Zagreb."
More to come haha...
"Forgive me, but I think Newcastle is pretty hideous and not getting any better."
AND...
On the Angel of the North, he says: "It's a totem. It's a fetish. It's just there, but don't tell me it's a work of art. Don't tell me that it has become like one of those things that you can come back to over and over again and still get that wallop in your stomach that a real work of art will give you every single time. It's bad engineering...it's CRAP"
