With all its washed-out areas and those in shades, the high and low light to me represent a deeper meaning its not different spaces its that in both light and darkness hope and despair good or evil we always turn to God!
Happy Ramadan my friend!
great work!
happy ramadan :)

Amazing shot Yahya! The scale of this is so surprising. At first glance it appears that the hanging lamps are at head hight or lower, then upson noticing the chairs I realize that the scale is MUCH larger. A very very beautiful repesentation of some profoundly beautiful architectre in this mosque. Nice choice of B&W here also.

Yahya ...our friends on UF didn?t leave a lot for me to say ....BUT
That?s a very special shot for me Yahya...
because I?m in a passionate love with this mosque ...going there times after times especially in Ramadan to pray, found there that kind of peace couldn?t found any where else.
believe I?m hardly hold my self to not continue talking about my love forward that place, I?m trying to tell you that am seeing your shot by a lover eyes not an ordinary one and its very hard to see through lovers eyes...had seen a lot of shots for it but always there is something missing ... the soul of it.
Yes... that place has its own soul, really i feel it...
My friend you have absolutely succeeded to transfer my feelings through your eyes. As much as I loved the place as much as I loved it in a 2 dimensions world through your wonderful eyes.
Accept my appreciations.

Mohamed Banna Mohamed Banna   {K:34237} 9/23/2005
Dear Yehya
first let me tell u that i'm an(OLD)architect ..
and as you know Sultan Hassan is one of the most perfect space consception in the whole architectural buildings world wide ..
and here you show us this architectural masterpiece in a very high quality shot: composition, proportions, shading , shadows, lighting , angle and cropping (in my point of view) are ALL PERFECT AND MORE and as u said perfection is for ALLAH,i said to you PERFECTION AGAINEST SUCCESS, go for it but dont compair ur work (even the architectural one) with perfection..
and sure the space helps u in this amzing master piece shot, but also u did it in a very superb work

well done with all the sevens i can add..

presntation is very good
BUT......
ur name is very BIG also :)
and i think ur name Jamaluddin not Jamluddin.. i took time to read it :)
anyway ur name composition is perfect but should be smaller.. and i prefere to put it with the same font like the 2005 at the left side..in a simple way.. and ADD a composition for SULTAN HASSAN at the centre.
WELL DONE my friend ( may be my SON goes better :))

all my best regards to u .. rising my hat for this great work
