Unforunately I'm not blessed with great light all the time in the UK, and I always seem to be fighting shutter speed and apeture....
Need to get some more sun!

Another great image Drowned Rat. Again, a smaller aperture would render the whole head in sharp focus while the long focal length will ensure good separation with the background. Great work.

Another great shot - especially the eyes - this little guy is definately looking for his next meal. Not sure if it is a falcon or a hawk and I know next to nothing about birds - but this one is a beauty. Belated welcome to usefilm. If you ever need inspiration on your wildlife shots - be sure and visit Darlene's portfolio. (But then you have probably already done so.) You have a great camera - my sons Robert and Sam use that one and Robert also uses a Sigma. Their portfolios are pretty spectacular too. Sam is new to photography but Rob has been shooting and uploading for a year or so. They far surpass me, but I have hope. Jan
