I wouldn't call him alone. With such a mighty sky and with all those wonderful clouds, it looks small but not alone. Very small comparing to the majesty of the atmosphere.
Loneliness is not the first feeling this picture transmitted to me.

la solitudine è uno stato dell'anima molto doloroso e quindi si cerca di metabolizare proiettando all'esterno il tutto cercando quello stato lo si abbellisce o lo si denuncia, tu hai fatto le due cose insieme:
