No wonder you were awarded a SC for this photo. Although I usually prefer not to comment on award winning photo because I think my comments to be superfluous, I decided to comment on this one, not just becaus of its quality, which made me add it to my favorites, but also because it showed your daughter with her hair disarrayed, just as in my "Blue eyes" on which you commented and for that I thank you. By the way, the little girl in my photo is the daughter of one of Rachel's relatives, captured during the 65th birthday of one of her cousins. You were quite right in describing Rachel in you previous comment. We have a long history together, both having been married twice before meeting a second time in circumstances that need to be explained in an e mail. We had met the first time in the operating room, seeing each only above surgical masks and I remember being impressed (1956) by her eyes. I would like to add that she was interned by the British between ages 3 and 8 in a detention camp on the island Mauritius. After we visited the island a few years ago, she wrote her memoirs in a book consisting of thirty short stories, adopted by our National Museum and Institute for the Commemoration of the Holocaust. I translated five of these stories, originally written in Hebrew to English and in case you would like to read these translated stories, please send an e mail to

Yes there's is a saturation boost...even a little 'yellower' than I think I like, but my eyes go bugging and I 'give up' after a while!
Her eyes are a little darker brown ~ did you ever get my email? Just curious.
