You're generous with your praise, Paul! Thank you. I almost didn't upload this one as just too mundane. So you never know... Yes, the grain is from the 800 ISO film. In the summer I usually use 400 ISO, but it was 800 in the camera on that day. Still, with slow lenses and shaky hands I'm more or less dependent upon fast film these days.

wow.. what a great shot...some of my best shots have been "snap shots".... this is perfect in many ways... I love the contrast between the woman in the poster and the family.. plus each person is also positioned under each poster.. the way the man is looking at the child..as well as how the little girl is looking at the other child as well..the only thing I wonder about is the bit of grain...is it because it is 800 film?.... great work Roger.. one of your best a perfect entry into various projects such as street photography.

I like the balance in this Roger. Both in the space occupied by the people and the yellow poster girl. Another nice observation of everyday life. Regards john

Roger, this one is in the grand PJ tradition. The first thing that grabs me is that there is a visual relationship between the real people and the poster figures. My attention goes back and forth between the three dimensional and two dimensional group. The subjects are oblivious to all this which makes it even more intriguing.

Very good candid work. I can see your frustration about the nonrectangularity (correct word?) of the frame.
