I agree that a true black in the image would have been nice. The light is wonderful and while this composition is very good, there is another image that may be equally interesting if just a bit simpler in which we only view the woman by the window.

This is a great image. I love the mood. Him busy with the paper, and her being quiet at the moment, it takes us into their kitchen as guests. The only thing is the contrast. I guess you were trying to go with a softer look. Here's a quick version I came up with:

yorum icin tesekkür ederim, yalniz oturan ksi ders calismiyor sadece kitap karistiriyor o yüzden düsünceli görünmesi gerektigine katilmiyorum :) modellerin durumuna gelince, eger yaklassalardi yanlarda anlamsiz koyu bosluklar olacakti, onun yerine ortadaki pencereyi isigiyla oldugu gibi almayi tercih ettim ki sohbetleri sirasinda ayaktaki model daha da sagdaydi biraz yaklasmasini söylemistim. tekrar tesekkürler.

Normalde bu siteye çok girmiyorum ama fotoğrafınızı görünce yazmadan edemedim. Üniversite yıllarımı hatırlattınız. Çok güzel bir kompozisyon. Ders çalışan çocuk az daha düşünceli görünseydi ve her iki model de az daha içeriye doğru yerleşseydi daha da güzel olurdu sanırım. Tebrikler.
