Who says motorways blight the countryside? Here's evidence it's not always so... AJ

When I first saw this I thought it was a photographic comp, like an artists impression. Good on you Irish lads to be brave with design...great visual.

Hi Steve,
Thank you for pointing out the problems. I do agree with your points.
Ireland, so much have changed in the last 5 years. Believe it or not most of the house hold have two cars now !!!!!.
Thank God for Americans for desending en mass into ireland and have their huge corporate giants Europe head office here. What a change.
You will enjoy if you ever visit again.
regards, ken.

Hi Ken -
Great abstract - full m,arks for managing to get a perspective so perfectly central against the sructure! For me - the image - a great architectural abstract in itself - is just a little distracted by the bridge image being slightly off centre left. I would crop evenly - seems a shame to have gone to so much trouble to get dead centre on the bridge and then not put it dead centre - just my taste really..
Only other thing I notice is a slight blue cast over the landscape in the back.
Please don't take this has a hard criticism.. I really love the shot!
Hope to come back to Ireland in the not too distant future - used to be over there regularly when I lived in the UK (my family originates from co. Mayo a couple of generations back) - a little harder to visit now I'm in the UK though!
Kindest regards - and thank you very much for your comment on "the Fishermen"!
Steve

Wonderful capture. Such a lot of man-made structures dominate the green of the the countryside they've been placed on.

Great shot Ken... the symmetry of the bridge is really well captured and offset by the curve of the road. Well done!!!
PS Maybe sometime you could join us for a beer and curry crawl?
