I got some unfavorable comments about the background clutter but they just would not move the plane for me...glad you like it

True..this SR-71 is in the entry way to the museum with large window above. I will post a shot of the window.

Thought you might enjoy a picture of our local fast mover. The SR-71 Blackbird at the SAC Museum.

Your advice is always sage! Will you help in getting the plane moved? I agree short of recomposing the entire shot there is little I can do to isolate the plane

Yeah, it is a little bothersome because the shape of the plane is so compelling in its own right, and I think the instinct is to want to see it cleanly defined. That said, I'm not sure the circumstances of the display will let you isolate it to that degree without performing a radical PS jetectomy (Sorry about that!). In the end, I think this is a perfectly good record of the plane in the museum context. Next time, ask them to move the plane outside so you can get a low angle shot against a gorgeous blue sky. How's that? --g

hi Larry -

been keeping up with your series of military planes - great stuff - my wife hated me for stopping at every aerospace museum we passed when we were in the US a couple of years back :)

Just love how innovative humans can be when it comes to wiping out the opposition ;)

With this one, i think the background is a little distracting (especially to the rear) - would be good to blur it off a little I think.

Keep em coming - love to see the planes :)

Steve
