david, there is a bit too much magenta in the scan i know. the past few days have been really busy for me and i'm slightly water logged. attached is a version without so much magenta.
cheryl, yes i know brad. great guy. were you at the ventura stop of the california cup?
maurizio, this was shot on velvia 100F, rated at 200 and then push processed at +1. the sun was going down pretty quickly and i needed the extra stop to keep the shutter high.

excellent aerial shot, Sean, he was snapping right in front of your face! Really an amazing action shot.
Composition is perfect, and I like the colors in it.
One question: when you say film pushed you mean you rated it 50 or you made it develop one stop higher?

Ok, if your IN the water, you get better shots! Now that's just not fair... :)
Went to the QS competition with the Ventura Pelicanos today (vs the OC Octopus) and they pulled out of a near loss in the 4th quarter. It really was an exciting game. Got to sit by this guy who joined the people in the stand (should've seen the kids around him!) ... you might know who this is being an surf fan yourself.
