Phil thank you for your comments.The spots are in fact a dirty sensoron the 20D and the sky was helped with hue and saturation.

what an amazing sky!!!! im wondering how the saturation and coloring got to be so spotty though???? wonderful composition and such a dramatic sky i would really like to know if it was like that or if done in post??? congrats on this one in deed. great capture
