Hi Ken, great if your looking for puzzle photos. I'm a conventional photographer, and photos like this don't rate a second look. Ian Pearson

I like photographs like this that get the viewer guessing. Ken, this is just marvellous - particularly because there is no PS work.
A very good idea and the result is spectacular - works very well in B&W also !
Best wishes, Steve

Wickedly clever. Saw something similar only with a laptop balanced on a leg.

My take on the focus would have been to blur the photo that was used as the desktop. It would help the blend the two, create some depth and really reinforce the illusion. If the background of the whole photo were sharp the whole thing would appear flat. As far as the crop goes I think if you blurred the desktop photo as suggested you would need to keep that portion of the open "window" on the screen to maintain the idea of the computer screen, otherwise it might look like just a frame.

And a very small aperture to make sure the real door is also in focus. Cool image! Cheers, Marc

Great idea Ken, nicely executed. However I think it might be made more abstract by cropping the right hand side to remove the open window and the HP logo; just a suggestion.

L'idea è eccezionale! Wow!
Ottima foto, bravo!!
