Great picture, Larry. Reminds me a lot of Charlemagne?s church from 800 in Aachen/Germany (where we lived before we moved to the US). There are many little walkways and parks around that church, too.

Well, since my daughter is an art historian, I better get this right. The gothic arch is pointed--as in all those great medieval cathedrals. The Roman arch is rounded like the aqueducts and the Coliseum. (OK--so I was trying to be a smartass . . . again ;-) --g

Nice composition, Larry! I like the foreground detail, contrasting with the architecture. Dave.

Ah hah! I thought from the thumbnail (where the curved arches predominate) that I had caught you in an architectural gaffe, but opening it up I found that you win again. I really like layered compositions like this one (You might have noticed.), and I admire the way you have framed it to give even more depth. Terrfic work. Congratulations, --George

Excellent Larry, I like the concentric lines in the foreground overlying this church with great architecture...... It gives the image a sense of time and oldness. Well done Laryy, 7/7 Khaled.
