Awesome man!! At first (thumbnail view) I thought it was like water flowing through some weed catcher spikes in a creek or river, taken with a slow shutter) But then when I opened it and realised it was a fork I was even more impressed.
You rock!

Great dof makes for a wonderful image. We can imagine the fork as many other things and also reference to scale has changed.

... and then stuck it in the waiter's eye? I guess it must be impossible to get shallower depth of field than this. Strange and excellent effect.

wonderful mark, it is so strongly this idea, a something of misterious intriguer behind the teeth of the fork.. a DOF extremly strongly, creates a halo of great light and mystery! it seems that something must say.., the teeth of the fork.. the curve of the stem of the fork is beautiful, creates the effect of one fantastic spaceship that vien and towards of us! cheers roby

Are all New Zealand Restauarants slow :-)? Great shot - you should spend more time at that place for inspiration. Truly - a clever shot. Regards David T, Tasmania

Hi Nancy
This fork isn't poking through anything It's just laying on the table cloth. The extremely shallow depth of field gives it that appearance.

OK, this is intriguing to me. What are you poking your fork through to get this picture? It's very, very interesting! I'm not sure why I like it, but I do!
