this was not taken by me. i just wanted to share this. this was taken by my mom 27 years ago. . . .. i insisted to have all her negatives transferd to c.d because they were gettin mighty damaged. as you can see this one has alot of mold and stuff.....this is my dad(ben) now 54 and my sister (cris) 27. im not even sure if she knows this exists....

I find the face of your father a bit "female" (without any offence!), maybe he was very young there. It's a shame the negative is going ruined, but the effect of those violet point is not that bad, IMHO.
Anyway, an image that touches the soul. Thanks fot sharing.
Well what a shame, as the image itself is remarkable. I think it would be worth the time spent retouching, perhaps convert to black and white to help hide some of the colouration damage too.
